Buckles for Irish Dance Jig Shoes

These blank irish dance buckles are ready for you to decorate with your choice of flatback crystals. Once decorated with rhinestones and flatback rhinestones affix them to the front of your irish dance shoes, also known as jig shoes, by threading the shoe laces through the arm brace at the back of the buckle.

We recommend that you rub the buckle with sandpaper to make the surface rough, this gives the glue something to adhere to. Supertite Grab 360 is ideal for applying the crystals to the Jig Shoe Buckle, you can also use E6000 plus.

To crystallize these jig shoe buckles you can choose different styles. 6 x 22m Zodiac Sew on squares fit perfectly, if you use the smaller 16mm Zodiac sew on stones you will need 8 16mm squares and a pack of SS20 (5mm) flatback rhinestons to cover the out rim. Or you could use a mixed ranged of sizes in the flatback rhinestones.
