To bind edges with 1/4″ (6 mm) bias binding, start by cutting a 1″ (24 mm) wide bias strip from lightweight fabric or using packaged narrow double-fold bias binding. Select a straight stitch with a length of 2.5, or choose a zigzag or decorative stitch for a more decorative finish. Snap on the Adjustable Bias Binder and adjust it to fit the 1/4 (6 mm) bias tape. Insert the bias strip into the binder guide, making sure it feeds smoothly, and place the fabric edge to be bound into the groove so that the tape wraps around the raw edge. Sew slowly and evenly, ensuring the fabric stays snug in the groove for a clean, professional finish. This method creates a durable and decorative edge, perfect for quilts, garments, and accessories.

How to Use:

1. Attach the Foot Snap on the Bias Binder foot.
2. Prepare the Bias Tape Cut the end of the bias tape into a point for easier insertion.
3. Insert the Bias Tape Feed the bias tape from the outside of the funnel guide into the slot and pull it down under the foot.
4. Position the Fabric Place the edge to be bound into the groove on the left side of the funnel guide.
5. Adjust as Needed
   If the stitch is not aligning properly, adjust the needle position as needed.
   To reposition the binder funnel/guide, loosen the screw on top of the foot, adjust the guide, and tighten the screw again.
6. Start Sewing Sew slowly and evenly, ensuring the fabric edge stays in the groove for a clean, professional finish.
