Helpful Tips:
- Fuse Before Sewing: Press outer fabrics in place with a dry iron on a medium setting. Work from the center out to avoid bubbles.
- Use with Cotton Fabrics: Prewash and preshrink natural fibers before fusing to prevent puckering after laundering.
- Steam Press Finished Projects: After sewing, use a steam iron on moderate heat to smooth fabric surfaces and set the shape.
Instructions for Use:
- Use a steam iron onlyhand steamers will not permanently bond In-R-Form Plus to fabric.
- Set your iron to the wool setting.
- Layer your materials: Place In-R-Form Plus on the wrong side of one fabric piece, then position the second fabric piece wrong side down on top.
- Fuse the first side: Cover the top fabric with a damp pressing cloth and apply moderate pressure with your iron for 810 seconds, or until fabric is bonded to the stabilizer.
- Flip and repeat: Turn the construction over and repeat the process on the other side.
- Cool completely before checking bond. If needed, repeat pressing for a secure hold.
- Fusing only one side? Place a Teflon sheet or parchment paper under the unbonded fusible side, apply your fabric wrong side down, and follow the same fusing steps.
Note: Not recommended for triacetate, seersucker, or most types of rainwear.
