How to use:
- Set Your Stitch Select a straight stitch with the needle in the center position
- Check Needle Clearance Slowly turn the handwheel toward you to confirm the needle clears the small opening in the foot.
- Position Your Fabric Place the fabric under the presser foot and line up the raw edge with the right side of the foot for an accurate 1/4″ seam allowance.
- Secure Your threads Hold the thread tails to the back of the foot as you begin sewing to prevent tangling.
- Sew Your Seam Stitch along the edge, letting the foot guide your fabric for consistent, precise results.
Pivoting:
- The horizontal marking closest to the front of the foot is a 1/4″ guide to help when pivoting with a 1/4″ seam allowance.
- To pivot using the guideline, sew your seam up to the corner, but stop when the edge of the fabric aligns with the 1/4″ horizontal guideline. Then, put the needle down.
- With the needle down, raise the presser foot, turn the fabric to sew the remainder of the seam and align the raw edge of the fabric with the righthand edge of the presser foot.
- Lower the presser foot then continue sewing a 1/4″ seam.
