To keep your warranty valid, an Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) is required. An AVR maintains a steady flow of power, protecting your equipment from harmful voltage spikes or drops. Please note that a surge protector is not the same as an AVR and does not qualify for warranty requirements. While you aren’t required to purchase our regulator, you must use one. We recommend ours because it also doubles as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), giving your machine temporary backup power during an outage so you can safely shut everything down without risking damage to your project or equipment.
