How to Use:
- Set Up Your Machine Select your desired overlock stitch.
- Attach the Foot Snap on the Piping Foot.
To Insert Packaged Piping into a Seam:
- Position the Piping Place the piping along the seam line on the right side of the fabric.
- Layer Your Fabrics Place a second fabric piece on top, right sides together, sandwiching the piping between the layers./li>
- Place Under the Foot Align the fabric and piping layers under the Piping Foot, with the piping resting in the groove on the underside of the foot.
- Sew the Seam Stitch the layers together. The foots groove will guide the piping for a clean, even finish.
To Make and Insert Your Own Piping:
- Cut Fabric Strips Use bias or crosswise grain strips wide enough to wrap around the cord with added seam allowances.
- Wrap the Cord Lay the cord on the wrong side of the fabric strip and fold the fabric over it.
- Position Under the Foot Place the wrapped cord under the Piping Foot, with the cord aligned in the groove underneath.
- Sew Stitch along the edge. The groove will help guide the cord and keep your stitching neat and close to the piping.
