The vertical loom, often referred to as the High-Warp Loom, is designed primarily for large tapestries and rugs requiring two harness control. The loom can be constructed quite simply and with minimum expense, and is ideal for related weaving and textile techniques such as Navajo weaving, warp-weighted weaving, Sprand and bobbin lace.
